All orders are processed and packed at our warehouse.

  • Peak Periods:‌ During high-volume periods (e.g., holidays, major promotions, new collection launches like “Shop new arrivals”), order processing may take an additional 1-2 business days. We will notify you via email if there are significant delays.

3. Shipping Destinations & Carriers
We currently ship to addresses within ‌Canada and the continental United States‌. We partner with reliable carriers, including Canada Post, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier and service level are selected based on your destination, package weight, and dimensions.

4. Shipping Costs & Delivery Estimates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and the total weight/dimensions of your order. All prices on our website are listed in ‌Canadian Dollars (CAD)‌.

A. Shipping within Canada:

  • Standard Shipping:‌ Estimated delivery within ‌5-10 business days‌. Cost calculated at checkout.
  • Expedited Shipping:‌ Estimated delivery within ‌2-5 business days‌. Available at an additional cost.
  • Free Shipping:‌ We offer ‌FREE Standard Shipping on all orders over a specified amount‌ within Canada. Please check our website or your cart for the current qualifying amount.

B. Shipping to the Continental USA:

  • Standard International Shipping:‌ Estimated delivery within ‌7-15 business days‌. Cost calculated at checkout.
  • Expedited International Shipping:‌ Estimated delivery within ‌3-7 business days‌. Available at an additional cost.

Important Note:‌ “Business days” exclude weekends and holidays. The delivery times provided are ‌estimates from carriers‌ and are not guaranteed delivery dates by Maplecan Stationery Inc. Delivery may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as weather, carrier delays, or customs clearance for US orders.

5. Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to monitor your package’s progress. You can also view your order status by logging into your account on our website.

6. Shipping Address Accuracy & Changes

  • Accuracy:‌ You are solely responsible for providing a ‌complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address‌ at checkout. We are not liable for delays, additional fees, or lost packages resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
  • Address Changes:‌ If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us ‌immediately‌ at ‌bari@maplecanstationery.com‌. We can only modify the address if the order has ‌not yet been processed for shipment‌.

7. Delivery & Receipt of Orders

  • Delivery Attempts:‌ The carrier will attempt delivery based on the provided address. If no one is available, they will typically leave a notification with instructions for redelivery or pickup.
  • Unclaimed Packages:‌ Packages returned to us as “undeliverable” or “unclaimed” may be subject to restocking fees and additional charges for reshipment, or a refund may be issued minus the original shipping costs.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Inspect Upon Delivery:‌ Please inspect the exterior of your package before accepting it. If the packaging is severely damaged, you may refuse delivery.
  • Report Issues:‌ If you accept the package and discover concealed damage or missing items, contact us at ‌bari@maplecanstationery.com‌ within ‌48 hours‌ of delivery. Provide your order number and clear photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging. We will work to resolve the issue promptly (replacement or refund).
  • Lost in Transit:‌ If your tracking information shows “Delivered” but you have not received it, please check with neighbors or your building’s office. If the package is confirmed lost, contact us, and we will initiate a carrier investigation.

9. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (For US Orders)
For orders shipped to the United States:

  • The recipient is responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees imposed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection upon import.
  • These fees are ‌not‌ included in the item price or shipping cost paid to Maplecan Stationery Inc. and are not collected by us at checkout. They are charged separately by the carrier or customs authority.
  • We are required to declare the full, accurate value of the merchandise on all customs forms.

10. Order Changes & Cancellations
To cancel or modify an order (e.g., change items), please contact us as soon as possible. We can only accommodate requests if the order has ‌not yet been processed for shipment‌. Once an order has entered the shipping fulfillment stage, it cannot be cancelled or changed.
